Several years ago I learned how to knit. The problem was
and is that I knit very slowly and  never made more than
a couple of scarves.  Then I discovered the knitting machine!
So, it's not handmade.  Who cares?  At least something gets 
made.  I still don't make a lot of items, but it's more than 
I ever would have completed with two "sticks".  I have a lot
of respect for those who do a lot of hand knitting!
